King oyster mushrooms marinated in soy, honey, ginger, garlic and Gochujang for a few hours, then seared in a little butter and then the marinade added back and thickened for the sauce! It might blow our heads off!
Decided I needed to get away from the computer for a minute and use the new camera, which I'm still very not used to, so I decided to take some pics of the very overloaded pear tree in our backyard. And then I decided to check out the neglected feral peach tree, and it has one viable peach on it!
Both desperately need to be pruned, which will happen this winter.
To go, because it’s not fit to be outside.
I have coffee every Tuesday morning with four guys in their 70’s. I’m 51, which makes me the baby in the group. They all get water to go with their coffee, which seems silly to me, but I liked how they were standing there sweating last week.

Taken on a weekend getaway on the way to brunch.
It was delicious. I’m a big fan.
From my road trip last november to Denver and back. This was taken on my walk to dinner in Louisville. It was a little chilly, but the sunset was worth it.
Springfield is the home of the Lincoln presidential library and is a good time - his grave is also worth visiting. This photo was taken from my hotel room, which was very nice.
From my trip to Denver last fall. This show was emotional. I’ve loved this band for twenty five years and I got to see them live with an orchestra and it was glorious.
A poignant golden hour moment with an abandoned baby doll.
